Moving onward and upward!

We are finally moved in!  I just hate the whole process of moving!  It's long!  It's hot...cause we seem to always move in the summer and we live in Texas!  And I hated doing it as a kid and I hate it even more as an adult.

Everything is off schedule because nothing is where you expect it to be!  And now, two weeks later we are settling in!

It's totally hampered my book editing!  I feel like I need to spend every moment I can unpacking and organizing!  Not to mention my full time job...and then all the other normal duties - carpool, grocery shopping, etc!  Who ever thinks that being an adult is so wonderful...hasn't been an adult very long!  It's hard work!  Balancing...juggling...trying to figure it all out!

I must admit, I am enjoying the editing process!  It helps that my publisher is fantastic and is working right a long side me!  He's actually ahead of me now...like I said the move really hampered my editing.  But, I was able to get about 66 pages done today! Woo Hoo!  YAY me!

And then I started working on my laptop...which needed to have an update downloaded and that took forever!  It is honestly...always one thing or another!  But, through this editing process I am reading the book again and I must say, for a debut novel, it's actually pretty good!  I see some inconsistencies and I found a few pretty major ones today!  That is going to make me really think about how I want it to go...I can't believe I did that!  In the beginning I took this one relationship one way...but then a few chapters later, I changed all that!
So that will be my work tomorrow night!  I will have to figure out which way their relationship should go and what makes most sense!  I have already started a sequel and this particular relationship is one of the key ones...so getting it wrong..going to the wrong way, could ruin that!  Decisions, Decisions!

Regardless, I'm a sucker for a happy ending...but I don't always believe that the best ending, is always the happiest!  So I find myself torn on what to do!  Better make a decision soon...time to get this editing done so we can start getting it published!  Still freaks me out to think that this Fall my book, Collide, will be available for review, purchase and criticism!

I hope you will keep up with me and what happens next!

Happy Reading!
